Week 3

This weekend my main goal was to do some watercolours and drawings. After interim presentation I was looking at the group as a whole and the majority of us had gone down that route of getting some imagery and trying to make a collage and that's not really my thing. But it took me a while to think about what actually is "my thing"???
I really like making hand elements that I can then scan in and work with digitally. I am also a big lover of silhouette/stencil so I incorporated this with some of my watercolour work.
I created a martini glass stencil for my reflection of the Motel Bar.
I created a heart stencil.
I created a film strip and used it both as a stencil and a stamp - representing the Lighthouse Cinema.
I also freehand painted a sunset over water.

I drew different touch interactions as I believe it to be key imagery in suggesting romance/couples/love.
